Installed directly on the pantograph, CATPRO operates safely even with traction voltage switched on, delivering precise, real-time data for predictive maintenance. Using laser and 3D stereo camera technology, the system accurately measures remaining cross-sectional area and torsion of the contact wire, helping operators forecast maintenance needs and prevent failures.
